On November 2, 2004 The ChinaCare Group ( Beijing and Hong Kong) and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center ( Los Angeles) held the latest event in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Symposia Series in China at the Westin Hotel in Shanghai. The symposium was co-hosted with Hua Shan Hospital in Shanghai and focused on current topics in neurosurgery. The keynote speaker was Dr. Keith Black, Director of Neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Black is a noted neurosurgeon who has received international recognition for his advances in surgical techniques in brain surgery. Dr. Liang-Fu Zhou, Professor and Chief of the Department of Neurosurgery and Dr. Zhu Professor, Department of Neurosurgery. at Hua Shan Hospital also made presentations . Over 150 of China's finest physicians and surgeons in neuroscience and neurosurgery attended this event.
