The ChinaCare Group, the only international healthcare consulting firm in mainland China, announced today the appointment of two new consultants to the firm.
Jia Xiaofeng, MD, MBA and Joyce Jo-Han Chang, MHA, have been appointed to positions as Practice Consultants with the ChinaCare Group. Mr. David Wood, President and Senior Partner, in announcing the appointments which are effective immediately, indicated: ¡°Dr. Jia and Ms. Chang are superbly well-qualified individuals who will play a major role in the ChinaCare Group¡¯s active role in the development of the healthcare marketplace in China.¡±
Jia Xiaofeng, MD, MBA joined The ChinaCare Group in January, 2007 and has served since that time as a research analyst. Dr. Jia received his medical education from the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China, and completed a residency in Surgery at the Beijing Chao Yang Hospital. He also received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University in Beijing, People¡¯s Republic of China. Dr. Jia received additional graduate education at Pepperdine University in the United States. Dr. Jia is fluently bilingual in English and Mandarin.
Joyce Jo-Han Chang, MHA, is a graduate of the University of Michigan¡¯s Department of Health Management and Policy program where she received her Master of Health Service Administration degree. Her internship was conducted at the St. Luke¡¯s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City and her residency at the New Century International Children¡¯s Hospital in Beijing. Ms. Chang was involved in research projects with the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica on Taiwan and the China Center for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, in China. Ms. Chang is fluently bilingual in English and Mandarin and has been recognized for her achievements in marketing management.
